I've been living on Rufus Rockhead for more than a year now and I have no regrets at all ! The area is amazing and the value of my condo has gone up by about 30%. I know there were a few condos for sale in my building lately, while some do sell quickly I often see some condos on the market for a while. I think my neighbor' s 3 bdrm condo, on 2 level, is still on sale. It is not on mls. I didn't know there's such demand for condos on my street ! There are some condos on Vinet which is just 2 blks away that have been on the market for several mths though they were reasonably priced.

Barbara, not a lot of condos go for sale there...and when they do, they are gone fast. You need to be on the watch out for them and move quickly to visit.

Is buying a small condo in the mile End..(parc Avenue) a good investment for renting.
From what I see the lowest rents ( for new high end) is $ 1200. (no parking)
Condo@180,000-240,000..

Hi,

I know this is a VERY old e-mail, but I'm looking for a condo on Rufus Rockhead now and am told it's impossible if you don't have an "in". I gather they're snapped up pretty quickly. Any tips for me? I'm looking for a 2-3 BR. Thanks.

It's wood construction. Average, really.
My sister bought on Amherst, she's happy with it.

Bummer. Dont you hate when this happens?
Why dont you rent out the space? That way you know for sure someone is using your space but at least you're getting paid for it.
Legally I dont know what else you can do
