Contamination

Now you can find out if the land or area you’re about to purchase (in the province of Quebec) is contaminated.
The website contains general and technical information on areas that have been contaminated by :

  • industrial activities
  • commercial activities
  • or accidental spills

Unlike the Land Register website, this inventory can be searched by address. Although the list contaminated areas is not complete, it has the information about the places that have been brought to the attention of the Ministère du Développement durable, de l’Environnement et des Parcs.

For more information, visit the Ministry’s website at http://www.mddep.gouv.qc.ca/sol/inter_en.htm
