    I am happy to hear that!! I live in verdun and I am not surprised to hear that. This area is just beautiful with well maintained homes, homeownwers now that take pride in their homes and it shows and also lots of renovations going on.

    What about St Laurent? I find it quite affordable and nice (close by DuCollege metro), do you think it's a good area to invest?

    Yes for Verdun if you are close to parks, water, services, surrounded by good quality new buildings or nice historic architecture.

    At this stage it is likely that prices will not increase as rapidly as they have done in recent years, prices may start falling. My neighbor has been investing in real estate for some time here in Miami, another city where prices are higher than the properties are really worth.
