Montreal Market Report: 2008 vs 2007

2008′s market report is already published in the Greater Montreal Real Estate Board.
We’ve all have seen it and read it on the news, the market is slow compared to previous years. The only thing different in this Province compared to the rest of Canada is that prices continue to increase. The value of homes are not coming down.

Montreal Market Report December 2008

Just like in November’s report, the prices are up and sales are down. We can see nothing much changed in the last month of 2008, to complete the year report. Basically, most of the things mentioned in the 2009 market forecast is a continuation of 2008′s market.

The condo sales matched the previous year, and will continue strong- according to the forecast. Although many will say that the market for condos in saturated, but look at the numbers, it seems that they are the ones saving the boat.
