Properties in the Montréal Metropolitan Area were selling faster in August 2010 compared to the same period last year according to the Greater Montréal Real Estate Board's (GMREB) MLS® statistics. Overall residential sales in the Montréal Metropolitan Area increased by 46 % in the first quarter of 2010 compared to the same period last year, and by 10% compared to the first quarter of 2008.
