Hi,
The realtor.ca is horrible !!! the search interface requires at least a PhD in psychology and patience !!

Very stairtforward example: when I want to look for a real estate in Mont-royal neighborhood (Plateau Mont-royal) , it provides me all properties in Town Mont-royal and vice versa.

Horrible !! the old mls was much better !!

Hi Laurent,
I imagine you're also an agent since you're using prospects. I also had a problem with accessing prospects and broker loader, as they only work with IE. The tech person from prospects tells me they are working on upgrades that will enable firefox users to load prospects with it, not ready yet though. Still waiting!

After getting tons of trojans and bugs from the net, I decided to end the BS and changed to Mac. Matrix works fine with FF and Safari but I am unable to use prospects and broker loading because (again) the browser issue.

Our real estate technology (for agents) needs more versatility.

It's horrible.

There are so many things wrong with that website it would take too long to list them all. You know you're off to a bad start when the first page has a nag screen.

Agent and home buyer should request from Centris that they start serving the full size pictures to mls.ca and the affiliated websites. While 640x480 would still look tiny on new computers, it would be an improvement over the current post stamp size.

Centris has the full size pictures and makes them available on Matrix. Making the switch from sending the "small pictures folder" to sending the "big pictures folder" to mls.ca could be done in a few hours. When I called some months ago I was told that their partners are working on it but that I shouldn't expect it for at least a year as the project was currently on hold.

On a related note, I wonder when will prospect web be available for browsers other than Internet Explorer. Ever heard of Firefox, Safari or Google Chrome? Some of us don't like security flaws and slow navigation in a web browser. Maybe someone is listening...

Call Centris : 514-762-2440

The new site is impossible to use. The pictures of residences that show up are tiny - nose has to be right on the screen. My searches result in over 5000 hits - the map is difficult with the rotater. I don't have the addresses and postal codes handy.....PLEASE REINSTATE THE OLD USER FRIENDLY SITE for those who want to search by city neighborhood(s). I have no objection to the map but does it have to dominate over the pics of houses?

The realtor.ca site sucks big time... what were they smoking when they came up with this one. I can see it now.. large boardroom table.. realtor.ca people on one side.. and frothing microsoft web geeks on the other side.... its pretty clear whoever gave the go ahead for this crappy site has no idea how to use a computer or knows what web design is.... did they even do any testing on this? Who is running realtor.ca John McCain?

Ok, I hate this new real estate site. Absolutely hate it! I am on dial up. It takes more than 30 minutes to download 2 seconds of the map. I haven't even managed to get to the properties. I type into the info area the city name, the price range of $150,000 to 400,000 and the other relevant information.... and i get 0 properties? You have got to be kidding! How difficult is this? I am a firm believer in three strikes your out....I have tried 3 X to get into it, I won't be back to that site any time soon. PLEASE give us back the old MLS.ca site! PLEEEEEASE!
